The Side is excited to welcome Coach Josh Bushyhead to the Girls ECNL-RL program for the 2022-2023 year! 

Bushyhead a former local soccer standout brings over a decade of coaching experience.  He joins WSA Soccer after 15 years of coaching at the high school and youth academy levels. Beginning his career as an assistant coach at Claremore High School, Coach Bushyhead went on to be the Head Coach for Verdigris High School and after 2 years took over his current role as the Head Coach of Owasso High School Boys, now in his 7th year.

Coach Bushyhead also coaches at the youth academy level assisting with the 2012s and the 2013s boys. Coach Bushyhead is 37 years old, lives in Claremore, and married with 2 boys ages 13 and 8.

"I'm looking forward to furthering my coaching career and excited to step into WSA full time. I'm ready for the position to help develop, teach, and compete with the group of the 2010 girls," Bushyhead reported. 

Bushyead will begin immediately and will be part of the 2010 Girls ECNL Regional League Staff.  He joins the rest of the 2010 Girls Staff in Tulsa with Coach Russell Ragland, Coach Richard Beattie, Coach Nader Shaker, and Coach Kevin King. 

"Adding Coach Bushyhead to our 2010 girls staff, is a tremendous addition," reports WSA Executive Director, Roger Bush.  "Coach Bushyhead has made an impact through playing and coaching for years in our community, is an obviously great ambassador for the game,  and will enhance an already incredible 2010 girls coaching staff. This is great for our 2010 girls program."
