Yukon Soccer Club (YSC) and West Side Alliance OKC (WSA OKC) Forge Strategic Partnership to Elevate Soccer Development in Oklahoma

YUKON, OK - March 18, 2024 - Yukon Soccer Club (YSC) and West Side Alliance OKC (WSA OKC) proudly announce the formation of a partnership aimed at providing soccer offerings from grassroots to semi-professional levels in the region. This collaboration signals a new era of excellence and opportunity for aspiring athletes across Yukon and the west metro.

With a shared vision for fostering talent and advancing the sport, YSC, a longstanding pillar of the community known for its unwavering dedication to youth soccer development for decades, and WSA OKC, renowned for its commitment to excellence in soccer programming, have joined forces to bolster soccer programs spanning from grassroots initiatives to elite-level competition including Academy, Competitive, EA, FDL, Super Y League, ECNL-Regional tiers and semi-professional WPSL and WPSL u21 teams. This alliance will provide a comprehensive pathway for Yukon Soccer Club players to progress through the ranks, honing their skills under top-tier coaching and competitive environments.

As the player continues to develop, our many offerings continue to expand to meet that player where they are.” said Phil Perkins, Director of girls programs at WSA OKC.

YSC, with its rich history of positively impacting the lives of countless young athletes, has been instrumental in shaping the soccer landscape in Yukon and beyond. Through its comprehensive player development programs and emphasis on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, YSC has become synonymous with excellence and sportsmanship.

As part of this relationship, WSA OKC's home fields will be at Taylor Park and Ranchwood Park in Yukon, OK. This move not only provides an economic impact to the city of Yukon through hotel and sales tax revenue, but also signifies a commitment to enhancing accessibility and community engagement, as both organizations aim to create a vibrant hub for soccer enthusiasts in Yukon and surrounding areas while ensuring that soccer remains accessible to all aspiring athletes in the region.

The affiliation between YSC and WSA OKC represents a fusion of two esteemed organizations dedicated to nurturing talent and promoting the growth of soccer at every level.
