FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

West Side Alliance OKC Girls Programs Join ECNL Regional League - Frontier Conference, Promising Thrilling Competitions and Significant Cost and Time Savings for Players and Families

Oklahoma City, OK - West Side Alliance OKC (WSA OKC) proudly announces its move to the newly formed ECNL Regional League - Frontier Conference, marking a significant milestone in the club's continued pursuit of excellence and providing unparalleled opportunities for its players. With this exciting development, WSA OKC solidifies its commitment to fostering top-tier youth soccer talent while prioritizing affordability and accessibility for its members.

The ECNL Regional League - Frontier Conference will stand as a pinnacle of competitive youth soccer, offering a platform for elite teams to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level. West Side Alliance's inclusion in this esteemed league not only validates the club's dedication to excellence but also opens doors to unparalleled experiences for its athletes.

Von Brinkley, Director of West Side Alliance Oklahoma City, expressed his enthusiasm about the club's decision to join the Frontier Conference, highlighting the myriad of benefits it brings to players and families alike. "This is an exciting moment for West Side Alliance OKC and all our members. By joining the Frontier Conference, we are not only continuing a high level of competition for our players but also streamlining the overall experience for our families," said Brinkley.

He further elaborated on the advantages, emphasizing the significant time and cost savings associated with participating in such a true regional league. "Playing in the Frontier Conference means reduced travel expenses and less time on the road for our players and families. Playing the top teams from Oklahoma, NW Arkansas, southern Kansas as well as SE Missouri allows our families to be able to reduce the number of overnight stays they have each year while continuing to provide direct pathways to the ECNL showcases and post season. This allows our athletes to focus more on their development and less on logistical challenges, ultimately maximizing their potential both on and off the field," Brinkley explained.

One of the most thrilling aspects of West Side Alliance's entry into the league is the reintroduction of intense intrastate rivalries and cross-town derbies. Phil Perkins, Director of girls programs at WSA OKC  expressed his excitement about the opportunity to foster these rivalries, stating, "Facing off against neighboring clubs in true cross-town derbies adds an extra layer of excitement to the competition. These matchups not only showcase the talent within our community but also ignite a sense of pride and camaraderie among players and supporters alike. I look forward to hosting these ECRL matchups at our new home in Yukon, Taylor Park."

West Side Alliance looks forward to an exhilarating journey in the ECNL Regional League - Frontier Conference, as it continues to uphold its values of excellence, inclusivity, and affordability in youth soccer development.
