BYLAW AMENDMENTS TO BE VOTED ON:

VOTE 1: Under "Article VI, Members", Section 1, Classes of Members... 

RESOLVED TO ADD a third class of members other than VOTING MEMBERS & NON VOTING MEMBERS, to identify the club's EXECUTIVE COUNCIL: 
 

(C) Executive Council: The Executive Council (sometimes commonly referred to as the “board”), consisting of President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary, Commissioners, and At-Large positions assigned, shall authorize and approve the execution of decisions of the Executive Directors of the organization.  Such limitations of authorities of approval shall be defined in Policies and Procedures of the organization, a separate manual that keeps updated organization policies and procedures regarding finances, contracts, leases, and operations (not amended, proposed 2019, prior to COVID).


VOTE #2: Under Article VII, Meetings of Members, Section 2, Special Meetings, Proposed to revise language to correctly call out Executive Council privilege to call "special meetings"
 

Section 2. SPECIAL MEETINGS. Special meetings of the members may be called by the President or not less than four (4) of the members of the Board. ** Proposed change Board to Executive Council to correctly represent the correct class of member.

VOTE #3: Under Article VII, Meetings of Members, Resolved to add Electronic Voting as allowed. This in response to the COVID global pandemic of 2020 which required shelter-in-place, and social distancing laws, which prohibited regular business meetings from convening in person.

Section 8. ELECTRONIC VOTING.  Electronic voting is allowed (by email, text, video conference, or tele conference). 

 

VOTE #4: Under Article VII, Meetings of Members, Resolved to revise bylaws from 10th Edition of Roberts Rules of Order for meeting operations, to "most recently revised Roberts Rules of Order".  Add "business" in front of meetings to clarify other "meetings" occur without Roberts Rules of Order presiding.  Also if VOTE #3 passes above, change Section 8 to Section 9 to accommodate the addition of Section 8. 
 

Section 8 (9). ROBERT’S RULES OF ORDER. The (10th Addition) most recently revised Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised will prevail at all business meetings of the corporation.

VOTE #5:  Add WSA's Diversity & Inclusion Statement to the WSA Bylaws (in addition to it's current residence in the WSA Procedures & Policies).  Add to Article II, Purposes of Organization.
