RIVERCITY PARKS TAKES DIRECT HIT
SEASON & WSA CUP WILL GO ON

WSA's extended family would like to offer thoughts and prayers for any affected by the tornadoes of March 25.  The WSA leadership is currently reviewing damages incurred at all of it's facilities.  Plans of action are currently in place to host the 2015 WSA Cup as scheduled, and to complete games for the Spring season as scheduled.

WSA's Rivercity Parks soccer complex incurred a "direct hit" from the tornado.  The tornado carved a path through the parks, winding through the soccer fields.  The good news is the damage at Rivercity Parks soccer complex is repairable.  And MOST IMPORTANTLY all members are safe.  A planned Kickstart session for 2-4 year olds, would have featured about 50 familes at Rivercity Parks fields at the time the tornado touched down. We are thankful for the intution and heady planning of WSA directors, Kevin King and Catherine Grona, who had the foresight to cancel the event in the afternoon.   We are grateful that all are safe!

WSA would like to thank all member clubs, the Oklahoma Soccer Association, and certainly all of our members, teams, players, coaches, and staff who have already volunteered to help with the clean-up efforts!  You are superb in your support, service, and friendship.  This past weekend we appreciated all those who showed up to help with the clean-up efforts.  We sincerely appreciate your generosity, kindness, and friendship.

Very importantly the Spring season THE 2015 WSA CUP TOURNAMENT will be played as scheduled!  Planning is being staged right now for both.
