ORU Womens Soccer Claims Multiple Summit League Postseason Honors and Advance to Summit League Championship!

WSA NATION: We'd like to congratulate our DOC Roger Bush for receiving The Summit League Coach of the year award and former WSA 98 player Brooklyn Eardley for being selected to the League's All-Freshmen Team! We'd also like to congratulate the ORU Women's Soccer team for advancing to The Summit League Championship match! The Championship game will be played at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 5 at Dacotah Field in Fargo, N.D.

The Side DOC and ORU Head Coach Roger Bush, in his fourth season leading the Golden Eagles, has a record of 39-31-7, including the 2016 regular season. ORU went 10-9-1 in the regular season in 2016, with a key win at Denver, and finished the regular season on a five-game winning streak heading in to the Summit League Tournament. The Golden Eagles finished the regular season in fourth place in the Summit League. Bush has lead The Side from its inception in 1992 and shows a joyful passion as he leads the Side in completing its core mission of allowing kids to play soccer, no matter their background. Coach Roger, as he is known to thousands of soccer players across the nation, graciously responded to the award by saying “Come on you Spurs”

As a freshman, Brooklyn Eardley (WSA ’16) made her presence known. She started in 16 games for the Golden Eagles in the regular season and tallied two assists.
