WSA Seniors Ink Commitments with Colleges on Signing Date

Where our Seniors are Headed to College

National Signing date for College Soccer was held on February 3rd, 2010 and WSA headlined the news.  WSA had more boys players than any local club program ink deals on national signing date.   Signing continues through August 1st, but here is a look at the earlier commitments of WSA players and where our seniors will be headed to college.  Click here to read more....

NATIONAL SIGNING DATE; WSA SENIORS MAKING THE NEWS!

West Side Alliance S.C. is proud of this year’s senior players.  Their on field work has led to some fruitful rewards.  It appears that as many as 20 players will go on to represent WSA soccer at the "next level".  National Signing date for soccer was held on February 3rd, 2010, when many seniors ink their deals for soccer scholarships and make "commitments" in writing to attend a certain university and participate for that school’s soccer team.

"Signing period" for soccer will continue through August 1st, and we will update our comprehensive list of seniors who will be playing collegiately later this season.

Heading the list are two WSA "lifers" Bobby Behrens and Devon Bullard, both who played competitively for WSA their entire careers.  The two also both attend Charles Page High School, in Sand Springs, where they have become role models, leaders, and great examples within the local soccer community.

Sammie Duininck will play next season at the NCAA DI level for Liberty Univeristy, while Sam Diacon, one of the region’s most highly sought after goalkeepers, will play at Missouri S&T (formerly University of Missouri Rolla).  Tyrell Jackson and Alex Tiem will continue to be teammates into college at Rogers State University under coach Derek Larkin.  Ryan Sanders will head west to play for Coach Billy Martin at Oklahoma City University, while Ryan Piper will join Behrens at John Brown University.  Johnny Chavez and Marco Hernandez will remain teammates at Oral Roberts University, competing at the NCAA DI level (while also joining Ryan and Roger Bush women’s coaches at ORU).  Many players are still considering offers, some from national powerhouses.   WSA 92 boys coach, Ryan Bush, reports that nearly $3.5 million of scholarship money was "offered" to the 92 boys team this signing period.

Here is an early look at headliners from WSA for National Signing Date.
