CLUB FINANCIALS 2022-2023
New fees for most programs have been finalized. Fees have escalated approximately $10/month across the board. Some programs are still working to finalize. The current financials are posted here.
A transaction and processing fee (.025) will accompany all payment plans this year. Due to GOTSPORT functionality the transaction fee will be charged on the total invoice on the first payment. For example, if the total invoice is $1,000 then when the parent pays the initial deposit/installment, they will be charged $25 for the “year’s transaction fees”. We have attempted, without succes, to remedy this to a "per transaction fee" rather than a one-time "per invoice" fee. Please be prepared for this fee to be part of the intial/deposit (for those who have traditionally chosen the $5 Deposit option, this 2.5% transaction/processing fee will now accompany the $5 deposit).
SPRING ASSESSMENT OF $100 COLLECTED NOVEMBER 15: For WSA Central Competitive & WSA ECNL-RL & WSA EA, this season there will be a Spring Assessment of $100 which is part of the Annual Registration. This will cover inflated prices for referees, referee assigning, facilities, and operations. WSA is currently covering hotel costs to bring in referees for game weekends as well as subsidizing referee pay in addition to team’s payments. Likewise WSA’s facility expenses have escalated during current economic times (fertilizer, water, gasoline, etc). We collected the Spring Assessment after the initial registration, to help alleviate “up-front” costs. This portion of Annual Registration will be due November 15th.
ECNL-RL/EA MONTHLY LEAGUE ASSESSMENT PAID BY TEAM TO CLUB: All ECNL-RL and EA teams will pay a “Monthly League Assessment” to the club ($350/month or prox to $20/player), to cover game filming, sports performance training, and requirements for league game-day hosting (athletic trainer, hydration stations, golf carts, league branding, traveling referees, etc). This is a portion of the "team fee" paid to each team each month or quarter.
REGISTRATION TO TEAM ROSTER:
Players who are offered spots at tryouts will have 24 hours to complete registration.
Players may begin to register on May 1, 12:01 AM if they are certain of their team selection.
WSA REGISTRATION LINK:
SELECTING TEAM NAME DURING REGISTRATION: During registration players will choose a team from a drop-down menu of team names. In cases where a team name is changing from last year, the coach at tryouts may inform you which team to select during this process. There is also a step during registration to ask you to type in your team name and coach name to assist our registrars with proper team placement.
PRE-ECNLRL TEAMS FOR 2011 & 2012 BOYS & GIRLS: WSA will host one team in 2011 and 2012 boys and girls that plays as a “Pre-ECNL” team. More info coming this spring on the league platform for these teams. These teams will abide by ECNL standards. These players will register through the ECNL-RL registration portal.
If you have questions, each of your Directors are well informed and have been a signficant part of generating financials, processes, staffing, and leaguing assignments.
We also have a great group of Age Group Coordinators who can help expedite any questions you might have.
