REMINDER: CHECK THE WSA "HOME COMPOSITE" SCHEDULE WEEKLY (by email).
Make sure any of your home games are listed
If you see a previously scheduled game listed that was rescheduled, please alert the club (if your game is still listed it means the club shows you responsible for ref fees).
REMINDER: REPORT YOUR OPC SCORE
FROM OPC: Your game (match) cards are in your GotSport accounts under your manager profile.
When you pull up the match card, you'll see that there is a website address for recording scores, along with an event and PIN number (0000). You can not copy that website address, you must click on it to access the scoring screen. It's a hyperlink although it remains black. If you're a returning manager, you will notice that there is no longer a phone number to do this.
So to record a game score - log into your GotSport account, find the match card, click the hyperlink website address, enter the event code, and then the PIN, and you will be able to finish from there! Remembering to record any cards given during the game.
The last step is now to upload the game forms (both of them) to OPC using the JotForm link, which can also be found on our website:

1. GAME CARDS:
STEP 1: CLONE YOUR ROSTER. For those of you who used Gotsport 1.0, you followed a similar process last year.
TO CLONE ROSTER: From your Manager or Coach account, follow these steps:
Click on Team Management at the top.
Click on your Team name
Click on Rosters
Under Event, Select OPC Fall 2020 League
Where it says Clone Roster From, Select West Side Alliance Player List 20-21 Season from the drop down, hit Submit. You have cloned your roster.
**Once you have done this step, then I will go in and approve your rosters and this will allow your players to show up on your Game Cards. If you immediately try to print your card, it may be blank until I get a chance to approve.
STEP 2: ADD JERSEY NUMBERS TO GAME CARDS: This is an OPTIONAL STEP and managers can even write them in on the game card...it may help speed up pre game check in.
TO ADD JERSEY NUMBERS: From your Manager or Coach account, follow these steps:
*Click on the Team Management Tab at the top
Click on Your Team Name
Click on the Roster Tab
Under Event, Select OPC Fall 2020 League, Hit Search
In the Jersey Column, enter the Jersey #, hit save. Repeat for all players.
STEP 3: PRINT GAME CARD:
Please follow the steps via THIS LINK to print your game card.
Note: You will choose the STANDARD and NOT PHOTO option when you are ready to print...the Gotsport instructions have you choose Photo.
Also, most game cards are only showing WSA players on one side. The other clubs' rosters will be blank until they approve their rosters internally. This is something we have no control over. If your game card is blank on the side for the other team, I would just bring it as is to the game with your players listed...eventually the other clubs will figure it out...we hope ;)
2. CLUB PASS PLAYER PROCESS:
Deadline to Club Pass Players every week is Wednesday by 5pm.
The Club Pass Player process will be similar to last season. If you wish to CP a player from one of our other WSA teams to play in a game with your team, please follow this process:
-Make sure that players are NOT in the same division.
-Confirm with the coach of the player you are borrowing and date of the game.
Include in email:
CPP Request and TEAM NAME in the subject line.
COMPLETE first and last name with correct legal spelling AND DOB.
Copy to email:
~Coaches of both teams.
(You should be sending the CPP request email to four people, Rachel Bush, two coaches, and either Dan or Alex)
NOTE: Your CP players will reside on your gotsport roster/game cards for the remainder of the season unless we need to remove them to make room for new CPP's. Gotsport 2.0 does not allow for players to be CPP'd to individual games. This has the potential to be an administrative nightmare if I am removing and adding players every week to every game card for every team..it's just not feasible....So for the sake of my sanity, please simply cross the CPP's off of your game card if they will not be used for subsequent games.
- Please use your US Club Roster for tournaments. If you are using club pass players from other teams, please just write them on the roster under guest players at the bottom. This should be acceptable for most tournaments as long as you have the player's US Club Player Pass. Typically only State Cup/Championship (regional/national qualifier), Regional Finals (national Cup qualifier), or National Finals (NPL or USCS National Cup) tournaments will require a roster without any of the players handwritten. IF you are playing in one of those types of tournaments(State Cup/Championships, Regional Finals, National Finals), please request the updated roster at least two weeks before the scheduled date to play.
Congratulations if you made it all the way to the end of this email :) If you have any questions or if there is something I left off, please feel free to ask. If I already answered your question in the email, then I might ask that you re-read the email for time's sake.
We really appreciate everything that our managers and coaches do every day to serve our kids!
