Ken Lovelee Clubhouse Build Out To Be Completed

Holly Refining & Marketing - Tulsa LLC ("HRM-Tulsa"), a frequent advocate of local community projects, has teamed up with Tulsa Field Sports Alliance and WSA Soccer in 2015 and in 2016, to help support projects at West Bank Sports Complex over the next year.  This fall, HRM-Tulsa has gotten behind an effort at West Bank Sports Complex to complete the refurbishment and build out of the Ken Lovelee Clubhouse.   The clubhouse will become a team video room and player's lounge that will be accessible to the kids.  It will also become a meeting room, headquarters for events, and office space.

HRM-Tulsa contributions have included installation of new windows, a new air condition unit, complete remodel of all sheetrock, new ceiling, new floor, security system, and audio-video equipment for the team video room.  The clubhouse is being built in honor of Mr. Ken Lovelee, WSA's late president and registrar.  Mr. Lovelee was a long tenured employee of HRM-Tulsa, and the project support became a great opportunity for the two organizations to do something to honor Mr. Lovelee, and support the kids and community that Mr. Lovelee served for such a long time.

The partnership with HRM-Tulsa is viewed as a perfect community relationship by WSA leadership.  "HRM Tulsa is in our backyard and we are in theirs.  HRM-Tulsa's community vision aligns perfectly with our numerous outreach and community impact projects in and around the West Tulsa area.  We both already worked simultaneously on certain community projects, so it makes sense to collaborate our efforts for a greater effect of synergy," reports WSA Executive Director, Roger Bush.

Holly HRM-Tulsa  and TFSA and WSA both work with the Tulsa Community Schools program, and are both close partners with Tulsa's Riverparks Authority.

"We are grateful for the contributions HRM-Tulsa has made to our local soccer program and the kids who play the sport.  The enhancements at West Bank will create a safer environment for kids, and elevate the facility needs to a premiere level.  All of which helps serve our kids not only in Southwest Tulsa, but extending into Midtown and our entire community. This is a key step in continuing our mission of bringing sport to children irrespective of financial hardship," sums up WSA Vice President of Operations, Jeremy Combs.

WSA Soccer and Tulsa Field Sports Alliance thank HRM-Tulsa for their contributions to the community and relationship with the approximate 2,000 local soccer kids who enjoy the facility at West Bank Sports Complex.
