2012 DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
Benefitting the WSA College Showcase Fund 

    The 2012 WSA Dodgeball Tournament was held Saturday, March 17th, at the Case Community Center.  Over 100 players participated and the event was a "smashing success".  

     Team EMSA defended their 2011 Dodgeball Championship, rattling off 6 straight wins, to amass an 11 game unbeaten streak dating back to 2011.  The West Side 98's grabbled the "middleweight" championship, then challenged Team EMSA to an improbable "challenge match".  West Side 98's ended the unbeaten run of Team EMSA in a classic upset during the "Challenge Match".

    The "Lucky Duckies" and "Flaming Pegasus of Doom" met in the "lightweight" championship match.  And in dramatic fashion the Lucky Duckies the grabbed the title.  The "Falming Pegasus of Doom" however, were the unanimous "uniform contest" champions! 

   Thanks to all participants.  Funds raised from the event go to help support WSA's "college showcase fund" which helps teams travel across the nation to various "college showcase events".  The expenses incurred by older "college prospect" teams are tremendous, and we appreciate our club members attitude to overcome the financial deterrents that often times exist in the sport of soccer.  

    Most importantly we appreciate the friendship, family, and community that the event helps promote!  Look for hightlights coming soon!
